Maher Al-Greer

Maher Al-Greer Received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K, in 2012. He has developed a novel adaptive filter algorithm for parameters estimation and adaptive control of DC-DC Power Converters. Maher was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Newcastle University worked on Town & Country Hybrid Powertrain (TC48) Innovate UK project. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering in Teesside University, U.K. His main research interests include signal processing techniques for power electronic systems, Condition Monitoring and Control of Batteries, Smart grids & Micro-grid, Control & Optimizations, system identification and real time parameter estimation. Currently he is an Editor of MDPI Energies, Associated Editor of IET Power Electronics, Guest member of staff in school of engineering in Newcastle University, Co-lead of smart energy and smart grid research group at TU, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, U.K.
